Juddmonte Farms announced Aug. 9 the appointment of Shane Horan as stallion nominations manager based at Banstead Manor Stud England.
Horan comes to Juddmonte having worked for both Darley and Coolmore with roles in nominations and bloodstock.
Stud director Simon Mockridge said: "We are delighted to welcome Shane, who will be a key part of the nominations team alongside Sabine Bouard and Claire Curry, led by me. Shane brings with him valuable experience and we look forward to him developing long term relationships with our clients at what is a very exciting time for our stallion roster going forward."
Horan will begin Aug. 15.
"I am thrilled to be joining the Juddmonte team, which is the envy of the bloodstock world," he said. "The stallion roster is equally impressive, with a great line up of proven classic sires such as Dansili and Oasis Dream, while Frankel and Kingman are two of the most brilliant young prospects to retire anywhere in the world. This is a fantastic opportunity and I am looking forward to contributing to the client service provided by Mockridge and his team."
