There are 487 horses cataloged for the Goffs UK premier yearling sale Aug. 23-24 at Doncaster, including a number of well-bred lots with champion- and/or classics-winning connections.

Sale graduates include the Darley July Cup (Eng-I) Limato, Hong Kong Sprint (HK-I) winner Peniaphobia, Prix Robert Papin (Fr-II) winner Tis Marvellous, and Norfolk Stakes (Eng-I) winner Prince of Lir. In addition to producing sharp 2-year-olds and top older sprinters, for which the sale has become known, its profile for also producing talented 3-year-olds is growing fast, the sale company said in a release.

Recent 3-year-olds sale graduates include Architecture, a daughter of Zoffany who placed in this year's English, Irish, and German Oaks (all gr. I).

Among this year's offerings are:

Hip 31, an Iffraaj colt out of a half sister to the group I winner and champion Free Eagle and group II winners Custom Cut and Sapphire;

Hip 57, a Le Havre colt out of a half sister to the Prix du Jockey Club  (Fr-I, French Derby) winner Blue Carnari;

Hip 113, a Mastercraftsman filly out of the stakes-winning mare City Image and from the family of Poule d'Essai des Pouliches (Fr-I, French One Thousand Guineas) winner Elusive Wave;

Hip 210, a Zoffany filly from the family of the champion and classic winner Kingston Hill;

Hip 231, a Canford Cliffs half brother to Aileen's Gift, dam of the Irish One Thousand Guineas (Ire-I) winner Samitar and from the family of the champion Golden Opinion; 

Hip 248, a Bated Breath colt out of a half sister to the champion Rip Van Winkle;

Hip 250, a Nathaniel filly out of the stakes-placed mare Lacy Sunday and from the family of the Irish Two Thousand Guineas (Ire-I) winners Henrythenavigator and Magician;

Hip 341, an Exceed And Excel colt out of a Giant's Causeway full sister to the Two Thousand Guineas (Eng-I) winner and sire Footstepsinthesand;

Hip 366, a Camelot colt out of a Pivotal full sister to the Lockinge Stakes (Eng-I) winner Virtual;

Hip 453, a Zebedee colt out of a Danehill Dancer half sister to Forest Storm, dam of the Two Thousand Guineas (Eng-I) winner Night of Thunder; and

Hip 447, a Dawn Approach colt out of an Invincible Spirit mare and from the family of the champion and Irish classic winner Marling and champion Marwell.
