Following a half-mile breeze in :49 flat Aug. 25 at Greentree Training Center, Godolphin Racing's Frosted will make his next start in the $600,000 Woodward Stakes (gr. I) Sept. 3 at Saratoga Race Course, according to trainer Kiaran McLaughlin.
A victory in the 1 1/8-mile Woodward would be the Tapit colt's third straight top-level win, following dominating performances in the Mohegan Sun Metropolitan Handicap (gr. I) and the Whitney Stakes (gr. I).

"He worked yesterday very well, came of out the work great this morning, and we've got confirmation from Sheikh Mohammed that the Woodward is next," McLaughlin said.
The trainer also said following the Woodward, Frosted could make a start in the $1 million Jockey Club Gold Cup Invitational (gr. I) at Belmont Park Oct. 8 or the $300,000 Awesome Again Stakes (gr. I) at Santa Anita Park Oct. 1 in his final race prep for the Breeders' Cup World Championships. McLaughlin said which Breeders' Cup race Frosted would land in remains undecided.
McLaughlin will also enter Essafinaat's Mubtaahij in the Woodward, following a third-place run in the July 9 Suburban Handicap (gr. II), the Dubawi colt's first U.S. start of 2016 following three races in Dubai to start the year.
"He came over from Dubai and ran a good third first time out," McLaughlin said. "He also worked well yesterday and came out of it well. They have different owners, so they'll both run."
