Betting the Triple Bend on a $20 Budget

Description:

Declassify (above) was dominant in his second career start in June 2013 in an allowance race. (benoit Photo)
The Grade 1, $300,000 Triple Bend Stakes will go as Race 6 on Saturday at Santa Anita Park, and the field includes the classy Sahara Sky and recent stakes winner Cyclometer.
I’m going to go with the speedy Declassify from the inside post.
I think he’s going to improve off that solid second-place finish last time out, when he was more than four lengths clear of the third-place finisher. That was his first race since October and the Triple Bend will be his stakes debut.
He looks to have the speed to control the race given that I don’t think either Cyclometer or Wine Police wants to get in a speed duel. Classy closer Sahara Sky will be closing ground late. I also think Indexical is an interesting longshot to use in the exacta, he’s shown flashes of talent at times and can deliver  a big effort.
Declassify is 5-to-2 on the morning line, and I hope we get something close to that price.
My Bets on a $20 budget:
$5 exacta: 1 with/ 4,5,6 (Total $15)
$1 trifecta: 1 with 4 with 2,3,5,6,7 (Total $5)
Bonus wager: If Declassify is 2-to-1 or 5-to-2 or higher on the odds board, I also recommend a straight $20 win bet. I think those odds are more than fair in this field.
