French Group Winner Lesstalk In Paris Dead

Lesstalk In Paris, a two-time French group III winner and former French classic starter, has died a week after finishing second to Rizeena in the June 20 Coronation Stakes (Eng-I) at Royal Ascot.
Trainer Jean-Claude Rouget told the French press that the 3-year-old Cape Cross filly died as the result of an incident during a veterinary examination ahead of a possible sale.
Lesstalk In Paris was campaigend by Jean-Louis Tepper. She was bred Ireland by Skymarc Farm from the winning Linamix mare Top Toss. She posted a 3-2-0 record from six starts, the only disappointment of her career being an unplaced finish as the favorite in the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches (Fr-I, French One Thousand Guineas) May 11 at Longchamp.
In her 2014 debut, Lesstalk In Paris won the Prix de lat Grotte (Fr-III) in April before the French Guineas, but she bounced back to finish just three-quarters of a length to Rizeena at Royal Ascot. She won her first two starts as a juvenile, including the Prix d'Aumale (Fr-III), before closing the season as the runner-up to Indonesienne in the Total Prix Marcel Boussac-Criterium des Pouliches (Fr-I) in October at Longchamp.
Rouget bought Lesstalk In Paris for €125,000 ($154,188 in United States funds) at the 2012 Arqana Deauville August yearling sale from consignor Louviere, agent.
