Multiple grade I winner and champion sprinter Benny the Bull has been relocated to Swifty Farms near Seymour, Ind., for the 2017 breeding season. His fee has not been determined.

The 13-year-old son of Lucky Lionel—Comet Cat, by Birdonthewire, stood the two previous seasons at Bridlewood Farm near Ocala, Fla.

"We think Benny the Bull is the first Eclipse Award winner to stand in Indiana," said owner Greg James. "And with over $1 million in earnings in 2015 and most likely surpassing that amount this year, he'll be the leader on their year-end general sire list."

His top runners include Puerto Rican grade I winner and champion Joe Pike, Puerto Rican grade I winner Bull Account and stakes winner and graded-placed runner Richie the Bull.

Benny the Bull was bred in Florida by Tomoka Hills Farms and purchased by James for $38,000 at the 2004 Keeneland September yearling sale out of the Bluewater Sales consignment.

Benny the Bull went on to win six stakes, including the Frank J. De Francis Memorial Dash Stakes (gr. I) and the Gulf News Dubai Golden Shaheen (UAE-I). He would also place in the grade I Forego Stakes, the True North Handicap, and the Smile Sprint Handicap (both gr. II). He retired with $2,353,430 in earnings.
