Fasig-Tipton October Yearling Sale
Fasig-Tipton has cataloged 1,250 yearlings for The October Sale, scheduled Oct. 24-26 in Lexington. The three continuous sessions will begin daily 10 a.m. for the Monday through Wednesday sale.
With a record 1,400 cataloged last year, the sale was conducted over four days.
"Our consignors have supported The October Sale once again with significant numbers and quality, including yearlings by 19 of the current top 20 ranked sires," said Fasig-Tipton president Boyd Browning.
Browning said October Sale graduates again have performed exceptionally on the race track in 2016.
"Sale graduates have won or placed in 185 stakes races to date this year, a highly impressive statistic," Browning said. "These stakes performers were purchased for a variety of prices, indicative of how the October Sale provides opportunities for buyers of all budgets."
The catalog may now be viewed online. Print catalogs will be available beginning Oct. 4. The catalog also will be available via the equineline sales catalog app.
