Rain Forces Meadowlands Cancellation

Meadowlands
With heavy rain hitting East Rutherford, N.J. throughout the day, the Meadowlands has cancelled live racing for Sept. 30.
Live racing will resume Oct. 1 with a first post of 7 p.m ET.
The all-turf Thoroughbred meet runs through Oct. 19, with live racing Wednesday through Saturday until Oct. 8. Thursday-through-Saturday racing will be conducted from Oct. 13-15. The final three programs, Oct. 17-19, will be run during the day. Nighttime post is 7 p.m. Day cards go at 1:10 p.m.
