Live Racing at Meadowlands Cancelled Again

For the second night in a row, live racing at Meadowlands in East Rutherford, N.J., was cancelled Oct. 1, as a result of rain in the New York metropolitan area.
Live racing is scheduled to resume Oct. 5, with a 7 p.m. EDT first post.
The all-turf meet runs through Oct. 19, with live racing Wednesday through Saturday until Oct. 8. Thursday-through-Saturday racing will be conducted from Oct. 13-15 and the final three programs, Oct. 17-19, will be run during the day.
First post time is 7 p.m. for night programs and day cards begin at 1:10 p.m.
