After watching Godolphin Racing's Frosted breeze Oct. 5 at Greentree Training Center, trainer Kiaran McLaughlin confirmed the gray son of Tapit   will train up to the Breeders' Cup.

Which race he'll enter, however, still remains undecided.

"I don't know," McLaughlin said of the decision between the Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I) and the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile (gr. I) after Frosted covered five furlongs, clockwise, in :59 4/5 Wednesday. "(Owner) Sheikh Mohammad (bin Rashid Al Maktoum) will make the decision. It won't be much longer."

McLaughlin, who has alternated between working Frosted clockwise and counterclockwise since the nearly $4 million earner returned from Dubai earlier this year, was happy with the work Wednesday.

"He worked very well, looked great doing it, and galloped out well," the trainer said. "He can (run both ways), obviously, but we like to switch it up. We like to train most of them right-handed because we can. It balances them out a little."

The move was the third since Frosted's last race, a third-place finish in the Sept. 3 Woodward Stakes (gr. I) at Saratoga Race Course. His first was a half-mile drill in :49 1/5 Sept. 21 at Greentree and his second was another four furlongs in :48 3/5 there Sept. 28.
