Pure Sensation won Jaipur Invitational June 11 on Belmont Park turf
Pure Sensation will try for a third straight stakes win sprinting on the grass when he faces an expected nine other starters in the $150,000 Belmont Turf Sprint Invitational Stakes Oct. 8 at Belmont Park.
Patricia Generazio's homebred Pure Sensation enters Saturday's six-furlong Widener turf test off a clear victory in the Parx Dash Stakes (gr. IIIT) July 9 at Parx Racing. That effort followed a narrow victory by the 5-year-old son of Zensational over Disco Partner—also a Generazio homebred—in the Jaipur Invitaitonal Stakes (gr. IIIT) June 11 on the Belmont turf.
