For a race day that was delayed after a morning power outage was not resolved until just before noon, things turned around Oct. 8 at Keeneland.

The Lexington track reports that all-sources wagering on its 10-race card reached $15,926,396, a record total for a single fall meet card. The previous record of $14,135,204 was established Oct. 6, 2007.

The crowd of 28,101 is the second-largest for a fall meet day.
