Dr. Mark Dedomenico’s Pegasus Training and Rehabilitation Center announced it will bring back the 2-year-olds in training sale that has been on hiatus since 2012 and will also add a horses of racing age segment.
The sale at the facility near Redmond, Wash., is scheduled for March 21, with a training preview March 19.
Past Pegasus sale graduates include multiple grade I winner Bella Gallantey, grade II winner Broken Sword, and grade I-placed Blonde Fog. The sale has also produced 11-time winner Southern Solution and 15-time winner Eltoninadress, according to a release. The 2017 sale will have an online presence, allowing prospective buyers to view videos and photos of the entrants.
The deadline to apply to the 2-year-olds in training portion of the sale is Nov. 10, with horses due on the grounds by Nov. 15 to be broken and trained up to the sale by Pegasus.
The deadline for applicants to enter the horses of racing age portion of the sale is Dec. 15, with horses due on the grounds by Jan. 1.
