Fasig-Tipton has added a graded stakes-winning racing/broodmare prospect and a graded stakes producer to its November sale. The Lexington auction house will continue to accept approved entries for the Nov. 7 sale through the end of this week.
Grade III winner Cover Song (Hip 174) is one of the new additions. The daughter of Fastnet Rock (AUS) won the Oct. 29 grade III Autumn Miss Stakes in 1:33.73 going a mile on the turf. She is the first foal out of Irish classic winner and Irish and French highweight Misty For Me, by Galileo. Her 2-year-old half sister Roly Poly (by War Front) is a grade II winner and grade I placed this year in Europe, and is the morning-line favorite for the Nov. 4 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (gr. IT). Cover Song is being offered by Spendthrift Farm.
The other supplement is Grand Glory (Hip 175), a daughter of Distorted Humor being consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency. The mare's first foal is Gloryzapper (by Ghostzapper ), who won the L.A. Woman Stakes (gr. III) at Santa Anita and is entered in the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint (gr. I). The mare’s second foal is Banree, who placed in two graded stakes at 2 last year. Grand Glory is back in foal to Ghostzapper.
