Darby Dan Farm has set 2017 stud fees for the eight stallions the Central Kentucky farm will stand during next breeding season, led by current leading freshman sires Dialed In and Shackleford , who will both stand for $15,000 stands and nurses.
Dialed In currently sits in third on the freshman sire list by earnings and is tied as the leading sire by winners with 15 to date, led by Saratoga Special Stakes (gr. II) winner Gunnevera and multiple stakes victor Ruffenuff.
Shackleford's first crop of 2-year-olds includes 11 winners to date, led by multiple stakes victor Wellabled, who was dominant in the Sept. 10 Arlington-Washington Futurity (gr. III) and is entered in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf (gr. IT).
Darby Dan will again be offering various incentive programs in 2017 to provide value to breeders, including the Profit Protection Program, Goldmine 20/20 Match Program, and Black-Type Bonanza Program on every stallion from its roster.
