Airdrie Stud announced stud fees for its 2017 roster, led by high-ranking freshman sire Creative Cause  , second-year sire Cairo Prince  , and grade I winner and sire of a grade I winner Majesticperfection  . All three stallions will be standing for $15,000.

Creative Cause, by Giant's Causeway  , is currently ranked fifth on the leading first-crop sire list with $690,227 in progeny earnings through Nov. 6. His top runner is Landaluce Stakes winner Theonewewaitedfor, who has earned $118,680 to date for owner/breeder Heinz Steinman, who also raced Creative Cause.

Cairo Prince, by Pioneeof the Nile, is a multiple grade II winner, who has 25 first-crop weanlings entered in this week's Keeneland November breeding stock sale and one weanling entered in the Fasig-Tipton November sale.

Majesticperfection, a son of Harlan's Holiday, has had his fee decreased from $20,000 last year. To date, he has sired six black-type winners and two graded stakees winners, including Lovely Maria, who won the 2015 Kentucky Oaks (gr. I) for Airdrie's owner Brereton C. Jones.

Grade II winner and multiple grade I-placed runner Upstart  , by Flatter  , is new on the roster and will enter stud at $10,000.

The only other Airdire sire to see a fee adjustment is Istan  , whose fee will be $5,000 this year compared with $6,000 for the 2016 season.

All stud fees are on a live foal guarantee. Airdrie offers a 5% discount on all stud fees that are paid by Nov. 1, 2017.
