Grade I winner and track record-setter Misremembered has been relocated to BG Thoroughbreds to stand the 2017 season near Hemet, Calif. The son of Candy Ride will stand for $2,500.
Trained by his breeder, Hall of Famer Bob Baffert, Misremembered won six races and earned more than $1.3 million. He won the Santa Anita Handicap (gr. I) and posted victories in the Swaps Stakes (gr. II) and Indiana Derby (gr. II), where he ran the 1 1/16 miles in a track-record time of 1:40 4/5.
Misremembered has two crops of racing age and has already produced a graded stakes winner, two stakes winners, and three other stakes placers. His progeny are 55% winners/starters.
"We are very excited to have Misremembered join us for the 2017 breeding season" said BG Thoroughbreds managing partner George Yager. "He is the total package. He checks off all the boxes of what a great stallion should have: conformation, race record, and a strong family."
Misremembered is available now for inspection at the farm.
