Go Maggie Go, 'Betty' Face Off in Falls City

Two-time graded stakes winners Go Maggie Go and Include Betty will attempt to add another graded score to their résumés Nov. 26 in the Falls City Handicap (gr. II) at Churchill Downs.

Facing a field of 11 fillies in the 1 1/8-mile test, Include Betty, a 4-year-old Tom Proctor-trainee will break from post 6 with Drayden Van Dyke aboard and is the field's highweight carrying 120 pounds. Winless this year, Brereton Jones and Timothy Thornton's chestnut filly took the Mother Goose (gr. I), the Fantasy Stakes (gr. III), and the Remington Park Oaks as a 3-year-old. She finished a half-length behind Savings Account last time out in a one-mile allowance race at Parx Racing Oct. 22.

Thursday's race will be the first time this year's Black-Eyed Susan (gr. II) winner Go Maggie Go has faced older competition. She looks to return to her winning form for trainer Dale Romans and owner Mike Tarp after a fourth-place run in the Acorn at Belmont Park and a sixth in the Alabama at Saratoga Race Course (both gr. I) behind champion Songbird. She will break from post 8 under jockey Robby Albarado.

NOVAK: Go Maggie Go Soars in Black-Eyed Susan

A few fillies in the field are looking to notch their first graded victory. Streamline, who drew the outside post, was runner up behind Forever Unbridled in the grade I Apple Blossom at Oaklawn Park April 15. She most recently finished third in an allowance/optional claiming race at Churchill Nov. 5. 

Lady Fog Horn, who has won 12 out of her 21 starts, enters off a 2 3/4 length victory in the Frances Slocum Stakes at Indiana Grand Race Course Oct. 29. She finished second in last year's Cardinal Handicap (gr. III) at Churchill. 

Also entered are No Fault of Mine, runner up in this year's Arlington Matron (gr. III), and Sweetgrass, who is coming off a third-place finish in the Nov. 5 Chilukki Stakes (gr. II).
