Little Red Feather Racing has purchased a minority interest in Up Hill Stable and Head of Plains Partners' multiple graded stakes winner Lightstream for an undisclosed sum. The deal was brokered by Travis White of Taylor Made Sales Agency and by Bradley Weisbord's BSW Bloodstock.

Lightstream, a 3-year-old Harlan's Holiday filly, won the Oct. 22 Lexus Raven Run Stakes (gr. II) at Keeneland by 1 1/4 lengths and has never finished off the board in six starts. Her other graded victory came in April, when she took the Adena Springs Beaumont Stakes (gr. III), also at Keeneland. She will continue to be trained by Brian Lynch.

"Bringing opportunities like this to our great partners is the hallmark of Little Red Feather," said Little Red Feather managing partner Gary Fenton. "Our partners expect us to fill their racing portfolios with horses that can improve in value and provide them with a first-class experience."

"When we saw Lightstream win the Raven Run, I knew we had to find a way to buy in," said Billy Koch, founder and managing partner of Little Red Feather. "This is an exciting horse with a world of potential and we look forward to a great co-ownership."

Lightstream was a $55,000 purchase by Uphill Stable from the Ann Marie Farm consignment to the 2014 Keeneland September yearling sale. She was bred in Kentucky by Ann Marie out of the Arch mare North Beach, and is the first graded stakes winner out of her stakes-winning dam, who has produced three previous winners.

The Dec. 26 La Brea (gr. I) at Santa Anita Park is Lightstream's next target.
