After watching Miss Sky Warrior win the Tempted Stakes (gr. III) Nov. 5 at Aqueduct Racetrack, her connections will keep her at the Jamaica, N.Y. track for another stakes try.

Arlene’s Sun Star Stable’s Miss Sky Warrior is the lone graded stakes winner among nine juvenile fillies entered in the $300,000 Demoiselle Stakes (gr. II) Nov. 26 at Aqueduct. Trained by Kelly Breen, she finished fourth in her maiden special weight debut Sept. 11 going six furlongs at Belmont Park, then scored a front-running victory in a six-furlong maiden test Oct. 15 at Parx Racing.

A daughter of First Samurai  , Miss Sky Warrior then raced near the front throughout the one-mile Tempted before scoring a three-quarters-length win over Berned. Since that effort Breen has sent Miss Sky Warrior out for a single maintenance work, going a half-mile in :49.14 Nov. 20 at Parx.

While Miss Sky Warrior is the field's lone graded stakes winner, the Demoiselle also includes undefeated restricted stakes winner Bonita Bianca and grade I-placed Libby's Tail. Trainer Rudy Rodriguez will send out that pair, as well as Magic Cap Stables’ Jamyson ‘n Ginger.

New York-bred Bonita Bianca scored a 5 1/4-length win over other state-breds in the Maid of the Mist Stakes Oct. 22 at Belmont to secure her second win in as many starts. The daughter of Curlin   is campaigned by Michael Dubb, Bethlehem Stable, and Michael Imperio.

Libby’s Tail, owned by a partnership that includes Dubb and Bethlehem Stable, led throughout the one-turn mile Frizette Stakes (gr. I) Oct. 8 at Belmont before falling a head short to Yellow Agate. Since Oct. 27 the daughter of Tiz Wonderful has worked four times, including a five-furlong breeze in 1:01.07 Nov. 16 at Aqueduct where she earned the bullet among seven workers.

"I hope she runs the way she did at Belmont," Rodriguez said. "They're babies, so you don't know. The distance will be a challenge for all them, because there's a big difference between a mile and a mile-and-an-eighth."
