A number of Breeders' Cup runners will be back for racing less than a month later in the $200,000 Seabiscuit Handicap (gr. IIT) Nov. 26 at Del Mar.
Four Breeders' Cup runners from three different races will contest the 1 1/16-mile turf test, including Om (Turf Sprint), Vyjack (Dirt Mile), What a View (Mile), and Ring Weekend (Mile).
K.B. Sareen's Om put in the most inspiring Breeders' Cup run, when he closed from as many as 13 lengths back to just miss by a nose to Obviously in the Turf Sprint.

The others missed the board in their races. What a View set blazing fractions on the front in the Mile and tired to finish last of 14, Ring Weekend came in seventh—only 3 1/2 lengths back—in the Mile after a less-than-ideal trip, and Vyjack never threatened in a seventh-place run in the Dirt Mile.
All three, however, are proven winners, at a high level, on the Southern California grass. What a View (2016) and Ring Weekend (2015) have both won the Frank E. Kilroe Mile (gr. IT) at Santa Anita Park, and Vyjack set the Santa Anita course record in the City of Hope Mile (gr. IIT), his start before the Dirt Mile.

The wild card in the field of eight is Argentine Horse of the Year Hi Happy, an undefeated 4-year-old colt who has won four group I races in his native country. The son of Pure Prize will make his first U.S. start and first for trainer Felipe Souza, but hasn't raced since December, when he won the Gran Premio Internacional Carlos Pellegrini (Arg-I) at about 1 1/2 miles on turf. Jockey Altair Domingos, who has ridden Hi Happy in all six of his starts, is scheduled to ride in the Seabiscuit.
The field is completed by stakes winner A Red Tie Day, grade III-placed Hunt, and maiden winner Stylistics United.
