Equine Attorneys Group Elects Philpott

Attorney Jim Philpott
Stoll Keenon Ogden attorney Jim Philpott has been elected president of the American College of Equine Attorneys.
The election occurred at the recent annual meeting of the ACEA board of directors.
Philpott has been with SKO since 2008. He is a member of the business services practice and chairs the equine transactional practice. Philpott is one of the founding members of the initial board of directors for the Breeders' Cup Ltd, where he served nearly 30 years as a director and corporate officer.
ACEA is a national non-profit organization that promotes ethical practices among equine counsel and provides legal support, research, scholarship, and resources for industry groups and attorneys who practice equine law.
