Diamond M Stable's multiple graded stakes winner War Dancer   will enter stud in 2017 at Lere Visagie's Rockridge Stud near Hudson, N.Y.

The 6-year-old son of Claiborne Farm's top international sire War Front   won his third black-type stakes Sept. 10 in the $200,000 PTHA President's Cup Stakes at Parx Racing. He was one of two War Front runners to win stakes that day, with Mosler   taking the $100,000 Laurel Dash Stakes on the turf at Laurel Park.

In 2013 War Dancer won the Virginia Derby (gr. IIT) and in 2014 took the Louisville Handicap (gr. IIIT). He finished second in the grade I Man o' War Stakes at Belmont Park in 2015. To date, he has six wins and 10 placings out of 29 starts and earnings of more than $1.06 million.

War Dancer was bred in Kentucky by Cherry Valley Farm and Stuart S. Janney III. He is out of the grade II-placed winner Deed I Do, a daughter of Alydeed, who produced eight winners out of nine foals of racing age. War Dancer is her only stakes winner.

A stud fee will be announced at a later date.
