Writer, Equine Veterinarian Kelley Dies at 75

Brent Kelley
Retired equine veterinarian Brent Kelley, who also wrote or contributed to a number of books on horses and animals, died Dec. 11 in Bourbon County, Ky. He was 75.
Kelley, author of "The Horse Doctor Is In," also contributed a column to the former Thoroughbred Times. Kelley also penned books on baseball.
A memorial service is scheduled for 7 p.m., Dec. 16 at Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home in Paris, Ky. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
