Laurel Park Cancels Dec. 17 Card

Winter conditions including snow, sleet, and freezing rain forced the cancellation of the nine-race live program at Laurel Park Dec. 17.
Laurel, Pimlico Race Course, and off-track betting facilities throughout Maryland will remain open for simulcast wagering on races throughout North America and Latin America.
Maryland Jockey Club president and general manager Sal Sinatra said maintenance crews will work on the track through Saturday and racing will resume Dec. 18 with a 12:30 p.m. post time.
