A retired racehorse program always looking for ways to promote off-track Thoroughbreds, New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program recently introduced their newest idea – a partnership with the United States Pony Clubs Inc. to create the New Vocations Pony Club Challenge.
Pony Club is a national youth organization teaching riding and horsemanship, and the Challenge allows Pony Club members to adopt certain New Vocations off-track Thoroughbreds for free. It’s been a work in progress for years by New Vocations’ Thoroughbred Program Director Anna Ford.
