The National Thoroughbred Racing Association on July 16 released its annual report for 2013-14.
The 28-page report includes the organization's audited financial statements. For fiscal year 2014, covering the period Feb. 1, 2013 through Jan. 31, 2014, the NTRA's net revenue was $667,477, which represents a $600,627 improvement over fiscal year 2013 net revenues of $66,850.
The improved year-over-year results were attributed to disciplined spending reductions, as well as unprecedented growth in NTRA Advantage and Eclipse Awards sponsor revenues, according to a release from the organization.
The report includes information on the NTRA Safety and Integrity Alliance, federal legislative advocacy, NTRA Advantage, NTRA Communications, the Eclipse Awards, and the Daily Racing Form/NTRA National Handicapping Championship.
