Description:

The only colt by Frankel to be offered at a British breeze-up sale in 2017 and the first juvenile by leading Japanese sire Deep Impact to ever be offered in Europe as a 2-year-old are among the 152 on offer for Tattersalls' Craven breeze-up sale.

The European equivalent of a U.S. 2-year-olds in training sale is scheduled for April 17-19 at Rowley Mile Racecourse in Newmarket, England.

According to Tattersalls, the sale has produced an impressive 34 group and listed stakes winners since 2014, including 2016 group 1 winner Ventura Storm and multiple group 2 winner Mehmas.

Included in this year’s entries are 24 juveniles produced from mares that won group or listed stakes and 24 full or half siblings to group and listed winners.

There is a solid contingent of 2-year-olds by leading U.S.-based sires, including Bernardini, City Zip, Distorted Humor, Elusive Quality, Exchange Rate, Kitten’s Joy, Lemon Drop Kid, More Than Ready, Speightstown, Street Cry, Super Saver, Uncle Mo, and the late Scat Daddy.
