Into Mischief Colt Fires in OBS Quarter-Mile

The fifth under tack session for the Ocala Breeders' Sales spring 2-year-olds in training sale saw Hips 801-1000 post workouts leading up to the April 25-28 sale, with four horses posting eighth-mile works in :10 flat and an Into Mischief   colt getting a quarter-mile in :20 3/5.

Hip 848, a bay Into Mischief colt consigned by Thoroughbred Champions Training Center posted the fastest quarter-mile for the fifth session of the day. The half brother to Oh So Regal, third in the Feb. 26 Mine That Bird Derby at Sunland Park, is out of the Smart Strike mare Oh So Nice, a half sister to stakes winner Dynamic Cat.

The four horses that shared honors for the session's fastest furlong, stopping the timer in :10 flat, were Hip 809, Angels N Devildogs, a chestnut Midshipman   filly consigned by Vargas Sales, out of My Coastie (Trippi) from the family of graded stakes placed stakes winner Honey's Answer; Hip 811, consigned by Cary Frommer, agent, a bay colt out of graded stakes winner My Dear Lady (ARG), by Mutakddim, is a Bodemeister   half brother to graded stakes placed stakes winner Sky High Lady; Hip 868, a Violence filly consigned by Eddie Woods, agent, out of Palomanegra (Grand Slam), a half sister to graded stakes winning OBS graduate Falling Sky; and Hip 968, a dark bay or brown filly by Awesome Again consigned by Q Bar J Thoroughbreds, agent, out out of stakes winner Rivertown Belle (Bellamy Road) from the family of champion Holy Bull.

Hip 886, a Pioneerof the Nile colt consigned by Eddie Woods, Agent, turned in the session's only three-eighths mile work, clocked in :34 1/5. The colt is a half brother to stakes placed Dragon Mall out of stakes winner Petition the Lady, by Petionville.
