Hip 262, a filly by Creative Cause, brought $575,000
A daughter of Creative Cause was purchased by Peter Brant's White Birch Farm for $575,000 to become the second-highest priced offering on the April 25 first day of the Ocala Breeders' Sales spring 2-year-olds in training sale. Alan Quartucci signed the ticket for Hip 262 on behalf of Brant.
Bred in Kentucky by Brereton C. Jones, the filly had been purchased by Peter Bradley's Bradley Thoroughbreds for $75,000 at last year's Fasig-Tipton Kentucky July yearling sale. The filly was consigned to OBS by Eddie Woods, agent.
