Before this year’s Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (G1), Bloodhorse.com readers will have a chance to relive some of the most memorable editions of the Louisville classic at the new “BackTrack” channel that focuses on racing history.
In celebration of the channel’s launch, Bloodhorse.com has compiled—from the pages of the magazine—the 12 Kentucky Derby stories of the dozen horses who went on to win the Triple Crown. It’s an opportunity for fans to relive these memorable races from Sir Barton to American Pharoah.
The new channel, bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/articles/backtrack, also will feature the “Look Back” features that run each Thursday on the site as well as the corresponding BloodHorse Daily “Throwback Thursday” stories of Tom Hall, which pick up where history left off.
In terms of navigating to the channel, it can be found under the news tab at the top of the Bloodhorse.com landing page.
Of course once readers find their way to the channel, they may have a difficult time returning to the present as they relive racing history. Going forward Bloodhorse.com plans to add more historical photos, stories, and features to the “BackTrack” channel, so stay tuned.
Readers with any suggestions on historic features they would like to see added to the channel, please forward those ideas.
