Always Dreaming is tied for sixth in the Longines World's Best Racehorse Rankings

After his impressive victory in the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (G1), Always Dreaming is the biggest mover in the third edition of the Longines World's Best Racehorse Rankings. The Todd Pletcher-trained colt drew a rating of 122 for his classic win, putting him in a tie for the sixth-highest rating overall so far this season.

Always Dreaming was sent off as the favorite in the first leg of the Triple Crown and sat a stalking trip before going on to win by 2 3/4 lengths. The 3-year-old son of Bodemeister   has won all four of his starts in 2017 and came into the Kentucky Derby off of a five-length score in the Xpressbet Florida Derby (G1). His next start will come in the May 20 Preakness Stakes (G1) at Pimlico Race Course.

The same day, Churchill took the first European classic of the season by posting a one length victory over Barney Roy in the QIPCO 2000 Guineas Stakes (G1) to earn a rating of 120. Churchill, who was named Europe's 2016 champion 2-year-old colt, was making his first start of the year and has now won six consecutive races.

Juddmonte Farms' champion Arrogate, winner of the Pegasus World Cup Invitational Stakes (G1) and Dubai World Cup Sponsored by Emirates Airline (G1), remains atop the standings with a rating of 134, following by Australia's super mare Winx at 132.
