3:04 p.m.—$200,000 Peter Pan Stakes (G3) at Belmont Park

Master Plan enters the 1 1/8-mile test with stakes wins or placings in each of his last three starts. This year he won the OBS Championship Stakes (colts and geldings division) on the synthetic surface at Ocala Training Center, then shipped to Dubai, where he finished third in the UAE Derby Sponsored by the Saeed & Mohammed Al Maboodah Group (G2).

4:09 p.m.—$150,000 Beaugay Stakes (G3T) at Belmont Park

Trainer Graham Motion took great care to avoid a 2017 debut over a boggy Churchill Downs course last weekend with Miss Temple City. That marked the second delay in this year's campaign for the strapping bay, who gave her connections the slip one morning in March at Palm Meadows, returned with filling in a leg, and did not make a planned start at Keeneland in April as a result. Pre-entered in both the June 20 Queen Anne Stakes (G1) and the June 21 Duke of Cambridge Stakes (G2), Miss Temple City is running out of time to get a stateside race under her girth.

After taking down some of the best turf performers in Europe, Zhukova is now aiming to make her first stateside impression a winning one. The 5-year-old daughter of Fastnet Rock is diving straight into deep waters for her North American debut, as she is scheduled to take on seven male rivals, including defending race winner Wake Forest.

Trainer Simon Callaghan will saddle a horse he hasn't even breezed yet in Kaleem Shah's Aristocratic. After a split with trainer Doug O'Neill earlier in the week, six Shah horses were transferred to Callaghan's barn at Santa Anita, and one, Aristocratic, will start in the Barrera Saturday.

Derrick Smith, Susan Magnier, and Michael Tabor's grade 1 winner Hootenanny looms the one to beat. Hootenanny will make his first start of 2017 in the Hanshin Cup after most recently finishing fifth in the City of Hope Mile (G2T) at Santa Anita in October. He's raced in four countries and posted a win in the Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot prior to taking the 2014 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf (G1T).

Chester and Mary Broman's Highway Star will seek a second straight graded stakes win. The 4-year-old, New York-bred daughter of Girolamo   won the April 9 Distaff Handicap (G3) at seven furlongs last time out at Aqueduct Racetrack. Her six victories—all in New York—feature three stakes wins, including the Dec. 16 Go for Wand Handicap (G3) at Aqueduct.

7:04 p.m.—$75,000 Angels Flight Stakes at Santa Anita Park

Grade 1 winner Noted and Quoted will look to regain her form around one turn after two poor performances. The daughter of The Factor   won the Chandelier Stakes (G1) Oct. 1 at Santa Anita, but followed that performance with a seventh-place finish in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) and she was eased in her 3-year-old debut last time out March 26 in the Sunland Park Oaks.
