Horseman Anderson Registers 1,000th Training Win

Horseman Bruce D. Anderson secured the 1,000th training win of his career June 12 when his homebred Sisters for Ever rallied from last in a field of eight to win the sixth race at Finger Lakes racetrack.
Jody Anderson's Sisters for Ever, bred in New York by Bruce Anderson, won her career debut in Monday's $12,500 maiden claiming race. With Joshua Navarro in the irons, Sisters for Ever completed the six-furlong test in 1:15.55.
Multiple stakes winner Anderson has been training horses since 1980. Through June 12 he had 1,000 wins from 6,880 starts and earnings of $9,287,717.
Sisters for Ever is a 3-year-old daughter of Encaustic—Dancing Timber, by Prime Timber.
