Hip 573, an Uncle Mo colt, breezed a quarter-mile in :20 4/5.

The timing couldn't be better for three consignors with colts sired by Gainesway's leading sire Tapit   entered in the June 14 second day of the Ocala Breeders' Sales 2-year-olds and horses of racing age sale.

Tapwrit's victory in the Belmont Stakes presented by NYRA Bets (G1) four days before the juveniles are scheduled to go through the ring only burnished the stallion's already lofty reputation.

First up for Tapit will be Hip 528, a chestnut colt consigned by Harris Training Center. Bred in Kentucky by Ramona S. Bass, the colt was produced from the winning More Than Ready   mare Avid, a half sister to grade 2 winner and grade 1-placed Star Dabbler. Included under his third dam are champions Speightstown   and Silken Cat.

The colt, who breezed a quarter-mile in :21 3/5 in his pre-sale work, is making his first appearance in the ring after being entered but withdrawn from the OBS March sale.

Offered by Hoby and Layna Kight, Hip 582 was bred in Kentucky by Winchell Thoroughbreds and purchased from Gainesway at last year's Fasig-Tipton Kentucky October yearling sale for $40,000. A half brother to grade 1 winner Cuvee and grade 2 winner Will He Shine, the colt was entered but withdrawn from last month's Fasig-Tipton Midlantic 2-year-olds in training sale. He breezed an eighth of a mile in :10 1/5 at Ocala.

Produced from the unraced Carson City mare Pretty City, Hip 731 is a full brother to grade 1 winner Pretty City Dancer and half brother to grade 1 winner Lear's Princess. The chestnut colt bred in Kentucky by Gainesway was supplemented to the OBS sale as part of de Meric Sales' consignment; he worked an eighth of a mile in :10 2/5.

Among the top non-Tapit-sired prospects offered Wednesday is Hip 573, an Uncle Mo   colt from Top Line Sales, agent, who breezed a quarter-mile in :20 4/5, co-fastest of the day during his under tack show session. Bred in Pennsylvania by C Biscuit Racing and Smart Angle, he was consigned by Walnut Green to last year's Fasig-Tipton Midlantic October yearling sale, and was purchased by Sam Wright for $200,000.

Produced from an unraced Unbridled's Song mare, the dark bay or brown colt is from the female family of Canadian grade 3 stakes winner Magic Broomstick. Entered in the OBS April sale, he was bought back for $190,000 after a subpar breeze impacted by sore shins, according to his consignor.

A son of Mizzen Mast   consigned by Eddie Woods, Hip 611 is a full brother to Mizdirection, whose 11 wins in 17 starts included multiple editions of the grade 1 Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint. Out of the Clever Trick mare Deceptive, the gray colt bred in Kentucky by Joseph M. Perrotta Sr., was purchased for $90,000 from Four Star Sales at last year's Keeneland September sale.

The colt was timed in :10 3/5 for his eighth of a mile pre-sale breeze.
