It’s just about time for the Whitney at Saratoga Race Course and I’ve rounded up 10 Instagram accounts for you to follow to stay up to date on the latest happenings at the Spa as we roll into August at ‘The Summer Place to Be’.
1. @TheNYRA
As the official Instagram account of the three major New York race tracks, the New York Racing Association is the perfect way to keep up with all things Saratoga - from morning workouts and photos of big races of years past to fun activities and current winners.
2. @BreedersCup
The Road to the Breeders’ Cup sure is an exciting one and “The Best is Yet to Come.” With upcoming Win and You’re In races – the Whitney, Personal Ensign, Ballerina and Forego Handicap – at Saratoga, this is a must-follow account!
3. @fasigtipton
Fasig-Tipton was North America’s first Thoroughbred auction house and has two sales grounds – one in Lexington and one up in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. The big Saratoga yearling sale is this Monday and Tuesday (Aug. 3-4) and they never fail to update their account with successful sales graduates and more. The Daily Racing Form never fails to post gorgeous pictures of our favorite subjects – the horses, the scenery and more intimate backside shots – give them a follow!
