Pure Sensation Back for Parx Dash

Pure Sensation winning last year's Parx Dash under Kendrick Carmouche
In two turf sprint starts at Parx Racing, Pure Sensation has delivered a pair of victories.
Patricia Generazio homebred Pure Sensation will try to secure a third graded stakes win in as many Parx starts and defend his title in the $200,000 Parx Dash Stakes (G3T) June 8. The five-furlong turf sprint has attracted a dozen entries.
Last year Pure Sensation entered the Parx Dash off a close victory over Generazio stablemate Disco Partner in the Jaipur Stakes (G3T) at Belmont Park. Pure Sensation again enters Saturday's race off a start in the Jaipur, although this year the 6-year-old son of Zensational led early before he faded to fourth, while Disco Partner rallied to victory in world-record time of 1:05.67 for six furlongs.
Trained by Christophe Clement, Pure Sensation has a 7-4-3 record from 21 starts. In his last 10 starts, all turf sprints, he has secured four stakes victories. Kendrick Carmouche, who was aboard for last year's Parx Dash score, will have the mount.
Saturday's race awards the winner a free nomination, entry, and start fee to the 2017 Turf Monster Handicap (G3T) later this year at Parx. Pure Sensation won the 2015 edition of the Turf Monster.
