Enable bounds home to an easy win in the Irish Oaks

Juddmonte Farms' homebred Enable tracked the pace in the July 15 Darley Irish Oaks (G1) at the Curragh, blew past the leader turning for home and drew off to win every bit as easily as she had in her last start, the Investec Oaks (G1) at Epsom.

Aidan O'Brien-trained Rain Goddess was along for second with the Aga Khan's Eziyra coming home third.

Enable sparked a trademark flying dismount from champion jockey Frankie Dettori, who was returning to action after a shoulder injury that forced him to miss Royal Ascot. The daughter of Nathaniel raced easily behind Bengala through the first 10 furlongs of the 1 1/2-mile Oaks. She was always in control and none of her nine rivals showed any sign of being competitive in the final quarter as she hit the wire 5 1/2-lengths in front.

The bay filly, trained by John Gosden, finished in 2:32.13 over ground rated good to firm without much encouragement from Dettori to earn her second classic success this season.

Out of the Sadler's Wells mare Concentric, Enable won at first asking last November, then was put away for the winter. After a warm-up third at Newbury, she stepped up to win the Cheshire Oaks at Chester prior to her Investec Oaks triumph.

At Epsom, Enable drew off smartly in the late going to win by five lengths from the favorite, Rhododendron, with Alluringly coming in third.
