Adena Springs' freshman sire Point of Entry   had his first winner July 15 when Happy King won a six-furlong maiden race at Hipodromo de las Americas in Mexico.

Bred by Adena Springs in Kentucky, Happy King is the first foal out of stakes-placed winner Amnesian. The Bold n' Flashy daughter placed twice in the Russian Rhythm Stakes at Penn National and earned $180,552. She has a yearling by Mucho Macho Man  .

The colt was sold for $1,000 through the 2016 Fasig-Tipton October yearling sale to Arcadio Escamilla out of the Adena Springs consignment. Happy King is now raced by Cuadra San Antonio and trained by Juan Daniel Muñoz. He won in his second start, having finished fourth in his debut June 16.

Point of Entry won six graded stakes out of eight starts in graded company. He won three grade 1 stakes in 2012—the Man o' War Stakes, Sword Dancer Invitational, and Joe Hirsch Turf Classic Invitational Stakes, and won two grade 1 races in 2013—the Gulfstream Park Turf Handicap and the Woodford Reserve Manhattan Handicap. He also finished second in the 2012 Breeders' Cup Turf (G1T).

The 9-year-old son of Dynaformer retired with $2,494,490 in earnings. His last race was as a 6-year-old in the 2013 Breedeers' Cup Turf at Santa Anita Park, where he finished fourth.

Point of Entry stands at Adena Springs in Kentucky for a 2017 fee of $20,000.
