Jack Brothers, an original founding partner in Hidden Brook Farm, will be dedicating his time and effort exclusively to their organization, the 600-acre Paris, Ky., nursery announced July 18.
Brothers, a long-time consultant to Adena Springs Farm, will be primarily focusing on client recruitment, marketing and sales for Hidden Brook, beginning with the opening of the Saratoga Springs meet this week.
"I've had the privilege to work with a number of great people at Adena and have forged friendships there that will last a lifetime. Having said that, I'll now be working with a group of not only my business partners, but also my closest friends. It is safe to say that I am extremely grateful to be in such a position at this juncture in my life," said Brothers. "With the addition of Hidden Brook South, the former Scanlon training center in Williston, Florida, to the Hidden Brook portfolio, the timing could not be better. We've resurfaced the track there and constructed a new 32-stall barn--so it's the right time to have all hands on deck."
"We have encouraged Jack more than once to take this step over the years," said partner Dan Hall. "I have always believed that our primary strength is the diversified skillset that each of the partners brings to the Hidden Brook equation and Jack is certainly a welcome full-time addition to our enterprise."
Sergio de Sousa, Mark Roberts, and Kevin Latta round out the Hidden Brook team.
