Operating with just a few horses in training, a quintet of Evansville, Ind., physicians are having a healthy amount of success as Thoroughbred breeders and owners. Under their Bone Doctors Stable banner, the five medical professionals are currently racing homebred Marina’s Legacy, a 3-year-old Divine Park filly who, in her last two races, has won the Aug. 9 Indiana First Lady Stakes on dirt and the Sept. 6 Florence Henderson Stakes on turf at Indiana Grand Racing and Casino.
