Founded in 1987 by Carol Holden and NFL Hall of Famer Sam Huff, the West Virginia Breeders Classics (WVBC) is one of the most highly anticipated race cards of the year in West Virginia; it’s a showcase of the very best racehorses bred or sired in the state. This year’s WVBC will be held at Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races on Oct. 14. It’ll feature nine stakes races with purses totaling $1 million.
