Fault wins the Pucker Up Stakes at Arlington International Racecourse

Recent graded stakes winners Fault and Sweeping Paddy headline the Oct. 20 $150,000 Pin Oak Valley View Stakes (G3T) at Keeneland, where a full field of 14 3-year-old fillies plus one also eligible are entered for the 1 1/16-mile turf event.

Agave Racing Stable's Fault made her jump into graded stakes company a winning one when she closed from sixth to win the 1 1/8-mile Pucker Up Stakes (G3T) by a neck at Arlington International Racecourse in August. The Michelle Lovell-trained Blame  filly enters off a third in the Sands Point Stakes (G2T), where she finished 1 1/4 lengths behind recent grade 1 winner La Coronel. She'll break from post 7 with jockey Brian Hernandez Jr. aboard.

Dale Romans-trained Sweeping Paddy finally earned a graded placing, after three other tries, in the Edgewood Stakes Presented by Forcht Bank (G3T) at Churchill Downs in May. In that 1 1/16-mile test, she finished third behind winner La Coronel and runner-up Dream Dancing, who later took a grade 1 in August. Sweeping Paddy won the grade 3 Regret Stakes in her next start, taking the 1 1/8-mile race at Churchill by 3 1/2 lengths. But she enters off a tenth-place run in the Lake George Stakes (G3T) at Saratoga Race Course, where she stalked in second and weakened late.

The Paddy O'Prado  filly is a homebred racing for William Pacella, Frank Jones Jr., and Frank Shoop. She'll be joined by jockey Robby Albarado from post 11.

The field includes one other graded stakes winner, Sam-Son Farm's Journey Home, who won the Jimmy Durante Stakes (G3T) at Del Mar as a juvenile. This year, the daughter of War Front  won the Christiana Stakes, going 1 1/16-miles at Delaware Park, and enters off a close second to Fault in the Pucker Up.

Pucker Up third-place runner Lovely Bernadette is also entered for Friday's race. The Wilburn  filly comes off a win in the one-mile Indiana Grand Stakes Sept. 6.

Another recent stakes winner is Live Oak Plantation's Let It Ride Mom. The Into Mischief  filly won the Glorious Song Stakes over the synthetic at Woodbine last year and took the Sept. 30 La Lorgnette Stakes, also over the Woodbine all-weather.
