There’s a reason that Breeders’ Cup is my favorite time of year: not only do some of the best Thoroughbreds on the globe come together for two days of championship horse racing, but the event always falls around Halloween. It’s a win-win: horses, costumes, and candy is basically my personal trifecta of bliss.
