Money Multiplier seeks his first win since the July 30 Monmouth Stakes (G2T)

Klaravich Stables and William Lawrence's Money Multiplier will get a drop in class in the $200,000 Red Smith Handicap (G3T) at Aqueduct Racetrack Nov. 11, but he may not get much of a break.

While the 5-year-old son of Lookin At Lucky  has raced almost exclusively at the top level for much of 2016-17, the 1 3/8-mile turf event also features Pattison Canadian International Stakes (G1T) runner-up Oscar Nominated and Sword Dancer Stakes (G1T) fourth-place finisher Hunter O'Riley.

Money Multiplier comes into the 12-horse field of the Red Smith off an eighth-place finish in the 1 1/2-mile Joe Hirsch Turf Classic Stakes (G1T) Sept. 30, but he finished second one start prior in the Aug. 26 Sword Dancer, beaten a half-length by Sadler's Joy. In his first start of this year, Money Multiplier took the July 30 Monmouth Stakes (G2T).

One of two entered for trainer Chad Brown, Money Multiplier will leave post 2 with Javier Castellano aboard.

Stablemate Call Provision won an Oct. 20 optional-claiming allowance, but has yet to earn a graded win. The closest the Lemon Drop Kid  gelding has been was a third in the 2016 Pennine Ridge Stakes (G3T) in his second start.

Irad Ortiz Jr. has the mount from post 10.

Trained by Mike Maker for Ken and Sarah Ramsey, Oscar Nominated has been racing against grade 1 competition for much of the season. His one victory this year came in the Calumet Farm Kentucky Turf Cup Stakes (G3T) Sept. 9 going 1 1/2 miles at Kentucky Downs.

After a string of four consecutive placings in stakes company, capped by a third-place finish in Churchill Downs' grade 1 Woodford Reserve Turf Classic, the 4-year-old Kitten's Joy  ridgling finished off the board in both the July 1 United Nations Stakes (G1T) and the Aug. 12 Arlington Million XXXV Stakes (G1T).

With Jose Ortiz slated to ride, Oscar Nominated drew post 5.

Hunter O' Riley, trained by Jimmy Toner, took the July 29 Bowling Green Stakes (G2T) at Saratoga Race Course one start prior to his Sword Dancer effort. At the Red Smith distance, the son of Tiz Wonderful got a neck over grade 1 winner Bigger Picture, earning his first graded stakes victory. Manuel Franco will ride from post 9.

Tony Dutrow brings stakes winner Get Jets for Team D. The 4-year-old son of Scat Daddy has finished first or second in his last six starts. Get Jets drew post 3 for his graded stakes debut and John Velazquez has the call.

Messi, a 7-year-old gelding, finished third in the Sept. 16 Northern Dancer Turf Stakes (G1T) at Woodbine before a ninth-place finish in the Pattison Canadian International. The German-bred's most recent victory was the Sky Classic Stakes (G2T) over 1 1/4 miles in August of 2016 at the Toronto track.
