Each week BloodHorse.com looks forward to the weekend's biggest races. Consider this your weekly guide to the best stakes races in North America. This week there’s only one graded stakes on the schedule, but there are still several horses of interest involved in other races. Races are listed in chronological order (all times Eastern).

Saturday, Nov. 18

2:55 p.m.—$80,000 Bet on Sunshine Stakes at Churchill Downs

Katherine Ball's homebred Limousine Liberal is the commanding favorite on a significant drop in class from the graded level. The Successful Appeal  gelding has placed in his last two starts—the Stoll Keenon Ogden Phoenix Stakes (G2) and the Alfred G. Vanderbilt Handicap (G1). Prior to those placings, Limousine Liberal won three straight stakes in Louisville—the Churchill Downs Stakes Presented by Twinspires.com (G2), the Aristides Stakes (G3), and the Kelly's Landing Overnight Stakes.
