Due to a forecast of extremely high winds in the New York metropolitan area throughout the day, the New York Racing Association

has cancelled live racing at Aqueduct Racetrack Nov. 19. A weather advisory is cautioning sustained winds of 31-39 mph and gusts of up to 46-57 mph.

Aqueduct will remain open for simulcasting Sunday. The Belmont Cafe at Belmont Park is closed.

Live racing will resume Nov. 22 at Aqueduct with a first post of 12:20 p.m. The $125,000 New York Stallion Series Thunder Rumble scheduled on Sunday's card will now be run Nov. 29.
