We tend to gravitate to those things that are most familiar to us. For example, we all have the teams that we grew up watching, or the restaurants where we’ve marked significant moments in our lives. While it’s understandable that we’d be loyal to those people and places where and with whom we’ve found comfort and joy, instinctively many of us shy away from experiences that might force us out of our comfort zone.
