Florida HBPA Launches New Website

Description:

The Florida Horsemen's Benevolent and Protective Association launched its new website Aug. 26, www.FloridaHBPA.com.

The website was created under the direction of Thoroughbred owner and trainer Carlo Vaccarezza and presents information for horsemen within a spacious, modern appearance, accented by iconic black and white photographs depicting the diversity of people who work, run businesses and service the racetrack barn areas.

"Most horsemen today run their entire racing operations online and regularly promote their businesses on social media," said Vaccarezza, an FHBPA board member who leads the organization on various initiatives, including communications. "Our new website demonstrates a commitment by the FHBPA to ensure we are communicating with our members in the fast-paced manner and style in which they already conduct business."

The new site also will soon be updated with a "Members Only" section that will provide horsemen the convenience of accomplishing administrative and other functions online.
