Cinco Charlie, Galiana Romp at Delaware Park

Description:

Grade III winner Cinco Charlie and local standout Galiana won two of the four Delaware Certified stakes on Owner's Day at Delaware Park Sept. 13.

Delaware does not have an established Thoroughbred breeding program, so the Delaware Thoroughbred Horsemen's Association and Delaware Park created the Delaware Certified Program, which rewards horses that have been on farms in the state for a specific period of time. Along with the four stakes, owners and certifiers are eligible for purse bonuses throughout the meet at Delaware Park.
